'C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\VBoxGuestAdditions.iso' is owned by SYSTEM with full permissions for ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES, ALL RESTRICTED APPLICATION PACKAGES, SYSTEM, Administrators, Users, and TrustedInstaller - Microsoft left the Pope off the list. In the off chance that this is a Windows Host permission problem - nobody ever has these, right? - I made a copy of 'C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\VBoxGuestAdditions.iso' here: 'C:\VMs\Mint\VBoxGuestAdditions.iso'. I would normally reformat but I have a lot of stuff on the hard drive that I dont wont to lose. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can fix this problem. Obviously, the media is mounted and functional. I have tried other repair/recover programs but get the same message: 'Could not unmount disk KAINARC' Im asuming that to fix the hard drive it has to be able to unmount KAINARC.
